Sharjah Ladies Club Combined Spiritual and Health Awareness Through Interactive Lectures During Ramadan

As part of its ongoing efforts to deliver integrated awareness programs, Sharjah Ladies Club organized a series of activities during the holy month of Ramadan, including educational and interactive lectures, aimed at promoting a balance between women’s spiritual well-being and their health, while highlighting their vital role in building families and communities.

The activities included a religious lecture titled Words for Believing Women, presented by preacher Mona Tarish. The session explored the role of women in society, drawing on teachings from the Holy Quran and the Prophet’s Sunnah. It also highlighted inspiring examples of influential women, reflecting the importance of empowering women and enhancing their social awareness and responsibilities.

In addition, the club organised an awareness lecture titled Ramadan, the Healthy Way, delivered by nutrition specialist Dr. Abeer Al Kusayer. The lecture addressed best dietary practices during the holy month and provided practical tips for maintaining a healthy and balanced fast, contributing to overall well-being and quality of life.

In this context, the activities included an interactive workshop that gave participants the opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences, and to apply the concepts presented in the lectures in a practical setting, thereby enhancing the impact of the awareness programs and strengthening their connection to everyday life.

In this regard, Ms. Ameera Al Amri, Head of Events at Sharjah Ladies Club, stated: “Through these lectures, we aim to enhance awareness of spiritual and cultural values, highlight the inspiring role of women, and encourage positive engagement with their responsibilities, contributing to the development of a cohesive and educated society.”

Sharjah Ladies Club and its branches were established under the vision of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of Sharjah Hospitality Group, to serve as a leading hub for women’s empowerment in the UAE.

The Club is part of the Sharjah Hospitality Group, an institution under the Sharjah Family and Community Council. It provides a safe and inspiring environment for women and children, with a diverse range of educational, social, and wellbeing programs that enrich women’s lives and strengthen family bonds.
