Job Description

- Monitor the kitchen’s stock movement, and responsible for the Commis Chefs to follow the SOP of (FIFO).

- Ensure minimum kitchen wastage. 

- Responsible for completing the mise en place. 

- Measuring dish ingredients and portions size accurately.

- Actively share ideas, opinions and suggestions.

- Ensure storeroom requisitions are accurate.

- Report any maintenance issues to the chef in-charge immediately. 

- Liaise with the Head Chef and implement new dishes/systems whenever applicable.

- Ensure all statutory regulations are adhered to, such as food hygiene policies.

- Flexibility to help the kitchen team at busy times, if required.

- Reporting to the Chef de Partie/Sous Chef

Job Requirments

- Experience in the UAE 

- Minimum 3 years of experience in the same position

- Fluent English language
