The Sharjah Ladies Club (SLC) will be taking part in the sixth edition of World Art Dubai, the headline event of the Dubai Official Art Season, which will take place from 8-10 October 2020 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The event will host an impressive collection of more than 3,000 artworks from renowned galleries and solo artists from over 30 countries.
Having already participated in the past two editions of this largest affordable art retail event, the Club will support nine promising artists that were recognized by the Noon Art Award, organized by the Collage Talent Centre at the Sharjah Ladies Club, by showcasing their creative distinguished artwork. This falls in line with SLC’s commitment to shed light on creative young talent in the UAE.
“The support provided by the Club to women’s artistic skills embodies the Collage Talent Center’s vision and mission, to empower gifted girls and women to unleash and hone their talents, and express themselves in a creative way, and to share their creative artwork with others by granting them the opportunity to take part in this global platform that brings together top local, regional and international artists in one place,” commented Fatima Alnaqbi, Collage Assistant Manager at Sharjah Ladies Club.
Alnaqbi called upon the emerging artists to enhance their artistic capabilities and to make sure to take part in art exhibitions and forums, which will open up a whole new world of opportunities to promote and market their artwork.
