Work shifts as a Lifeguard/Swim Instructor and fulfill the responsibilities of both positions
Provide general information about pool and beach operations to members. Caution swimmers regarding unsafe practices and safety hazards, and enforce pool rules and regulations
Respond immediately and appropriately to all illness and injury incidents throughout the entire pool facility. This includes, but is not limited to, performing lifeguarding skills, First Aid, CPR, and other necessary actions until the arrival of emergency medical services
Rescue swimmers in danger of drowning.
Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly pool, deck, aquatics office, and locker rooms. Regularly inspect facilities and report any unsafe conditions or equipment to the supervisor or facilities manager immediately
Keep accurate records of pool usage, chemical levels, pool closures, etc
Attend and participate in all mandatory staff meetings and training sessions
Communicate openly and regularly with supervisors and team members.
Follow all club rules and regulations
Job Requirments
Have at least 5 years of lifeguard experience
Preferred age: 25–35 years
Ability to swim 300–500 meters continuously
Good overall health and physical endurance
Quick reflexes and good vision/hearing
Capable of lifting and carrying individuals or equipment
Certified lifeguard (must have completed a training course including): - CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) - First Aid - AED (Automated External Defibrillator) - Water rescue techniques - Spinal injury management - Valid UAE license
