In line with its commitment to enhancing the experience of its members and visitors, the Sharjah Ladies Club in the Eastern and Central Regions organized its annual gatherings in the presence of a number of leaders, government institutions, Club’s members and employees, and women of the region, with the aim of listening to the proposals of the ladies and meeting their wishes through the introduction of new services at the Club, as well as communicating with them effectively.
The first gatherings were held in January and February at the Khorfakkan branch, then followed by Wadi Al Helo, Dibba Al Hisn, Al Hamriyah, Al Dhaid, Al Madam and Kalba branches and then concluded at Al Bataeh branch. The total visitors exceeded over 400 women, between the ages of 15 and 60 years.
The gatherings began with welcoming SLC visitors and members, and witnessed live discussions of more than 30 suggestions which will be studied and then implemented, as well as brainstorming sessions, in which attendees shared their thoughts and opinions. The gatherings also included interactive workshops organized by Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS), Nawaem Altulle and Sharjah Geology Park; a raffle draw event; and an introduction to new services provided by the Club. SLC facilities, such as the Fitness Centre and the Joori Centre, also participated in providing free services and exclusive discounts.
SLC got over 40 sponsors interacted with those gatherings through providing active support and contributions, which contributed to enriching the discussions and successfully achieving the objectives of the gatherings.
It is worth mentioning that these gatherings are a part of Sharjah Ladies Club's efforts to support and empower women in the region. They are an important step towards achieving this goal and strengthening the role of the Club as a leading, unique and integrated destination to fitness, beauty, hospitality and talent development services.
