Sharjah Ladies Club has just hosted its annual honoring ceremony to celebrate the efforts and achievements of its staff in 2024. Held at the Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Center, the event brought together employees from the main Club and its eight branches to reflect on a year of great success and growth.
In recognition of their outstanding contribution to the Club, 61 members of staff received awards across a range of categories, including the Distinguished Employee Award, Top Sales Employee Award, awards for exceptional facilities and departments, and Long-Service Awards for employees who have dedicated 15 years to the Club.
Other awards included Distinguished Employee in Performance, Distinguished Management in Performance and Distinguished Branch in Performance.
The ceremony opened with a heartwarming video that showcased the dedication of the Club’s employees, followed by a speech from Her Excellency Khawla Al Serkal, Director General of Sharjah Ladies Club. She spoke movingly of the Club’s achievements and the tireless work of its staff, acknowledging that the Club’s success would not have been possible without the unwavering dedication and commitment of its employees.
She also thanked Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of the Ruler of Sharjah, Chairperson of Sharjah Ladies Club for her vision and guidance as the President of Sharjah Ladies Club.
Her Excellency said: “Our success is down to our innovative strategies and the adoption of best practices that empower women in society and support sustainable development. Looking forward, our strategic plan for 2024-2026 is to solidify our position as the go-to destination for women, by enhancing our services in areas such as health, beauty, hospitality, the arts and self-development.
“We are committed to providing a safe, luxurious and inspiring environment for women, at the same time as nurturing our human talent and raising the efficiency of our facilities.”
Her Excellency also highlighted the importance of strong corporate governance to the Club’s success, which has contributed to its numerous accolades and prominent reputation. Notable achievements include being named a World Health Weekend Health Champion for three years in a row, and receiving the Outstanding Financial Performance Award and Best Hair and Beauty Salon Award 2024.
Since its foundation, Sharjah Ladies Club has prided itself on encouraging creativity and leadership amongst its staff, enhancing their skills through training programs and development workshops. This dedication has seen 25 employees graduate from the Club’s Future Leaders Preparation Program in 2024, which equipped them with the skills needed to help drive the Club’s strategic goals in the coming years.
The evening’s ceremony recognized the extraordinary contributions of individual members of staff, reinforcing the Club’s dedication to its cause and encouraging a healthy level of competition.
