Sharjah Ladies Club successfully concludes ‘The Future-Ready Leaders’ program

Sharjah Ladies Club is proud to announce the successful conclusion of its future leaders’ program. This was a comprehensive six-month initiative, aimed at developing the leadership skills of 25 employees from both the main Club and its branches. The running of this course reflects Sharjah Ladies Club’s ongoing investment in human resources, as well as its vision for a strong workforce equipped with the leadership and decision-making skills it needs.

The program’s completion is a significant achievement, with the participants showing incredible progress and the introduction of 25 innovative new projects. Grounded in return on investment principles, these initiatives will increase revenue, reduce operational costs and improve the overall efficiency of the Club.

The training also enhanced participants’ communication, presentation and problem-solving abilities, giving them a boost in confidence and an even greater drive for success.

Speaking about the program, the Director General of Sharjah Ladies Club, Mrs. Khawla Al Serkal, said: “I wish to extend my congratulations to all our graduates. This distinguished training scheme has delivered everything we wanted, equipping our employees with the skills they will need to meet future challenges.

“I wish to extend my thanks to Transform Alliance Management Consultancy, particularly Mrs. Farzana Majid and Mr. James Meltz, for their pivotal role in supporting the initiative.”

Mrs. Serkal went on to express her gratitude towards the department heads for their encouragement, and praised Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of the Ruler of Sharjah, Chairperson of Sharjah Ladies Club, for her leadership.

Director of Human Resources, Mrs. Aysha Bahyan, praised the trainees for their outstanding performance, saying: “The invaluable knowledge and skills the participants have acquired will greatly enhance the strength of our leadership team. We are delighted to have been able to offer such a comprehensive training program and look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on the Club.”

Due to the success of the program, Sharjah Ladies Club already has plans to launch a second phase tailored specifically to managers. This, it is hoped, will build on the achievements of the first session, furthering the Club’s ambition to create a sustainable, innovative and supportive work environment for all staff. It is thanks to initiatives such as this that the Club continues to act as a beacon for the empowerment of Emirati women.
