Sharjah Ladies Club and Its Branches Prepare to Launch “Summer Wonders Camp”

Inspiring Experiences Combining Creativity, Learning, and Fun for Children and Young Girls

As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting children and families, Sharjah Ladies Club is preparing to launch the “Summer Wonders” Camp at its main branch from 29 July to 27 August. Meanwhile, activities across the Club’s branches, which commenced on 21 June, will continue until 27 August, welcoming children and young girls through a wide range of educational and recreational programmes designed to provide a fun, safe, and enriching summer experience.

The camp serves as an annual platform for creativity and learning, helping participants build confidence, strengthen teamwork skills, and explore their interests and aspirations within a safe and inspiring environment.

At the Club’s main branch, Collage Talent Center will organise a range of programmes and interactive experiences that combine learning with hands-on engagement. Activities include arts and crafts, heritage-inspired clay workshops, drawing and painting, concrete art, as well as cooking, photography, and gardening experiences. The programme also features a variety of sports and physical activities, including self-defence, parkour, gymnastics, swimming, and ice skating.

Ala Alshanasi, Director of Business Management at Sharjah Ladies Club, said: “The summer camp reflects Sharjah Ladies Club’s ongoing commitment to playing a positive and impactful role in shaping a confident and creative generation while promoting authentic Emirati values. Through carefully designed programmes that combine learning and enjoyment, the camp provides children and young girls with opportunities to develop their skills, strengthen their self-confidence, and grow within a safe and healthy environment.”

The camp also features a diverse range of activities across the Club’s eight branches in the Central and Eastern Regions. Layaqa Center provides yoga and Zumba sessions, alongside interactive games, while Ibdaa Center offers a series of artistic and creative workshops, including perfume making and accessories design, creating an engaging environment where participants can develop their skills and make the most of their summer experience.

Moza Al Wishahi, Branch Manager of the Sharjah Ladies Club of Kalba Branch, highlighted the importance of the camp, stating: “Through the summer camp, we strive to provide an exceptional experience that combines learning and entertainment, giving children the opportunity to develop their skills and make meaningful use of their time through a diverse programme that caters to a variety of interests and contributes to creating positive memories and enriching summer experiences.”

The main Club and its eight branches welcome boys up to the age of eight and girls aged four to sixteen, from Monday to Thursday, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., offering a rich and memorable summer experience.
