Khorfakkan Ladies Club organizes “Korean Festival”

Sharjah Ladies Club – Khorfakkan branch organized the “Korean Festival” at the Riwaq Events Hall on October 25, Friday, from 4 to 9 p.m., featuring a vibrant and eventful celebration that combined entertainment with the magic of Korean culture.

 

The festival included a range of entertainment shows, activities and events that were greatly admired by its audience.

 

Organizing this festival is part of Sharjah Ladies Club's efforts to promote cultural exchange and host events that combine education and entertainment for all age groups. This reflects the club's commitment to offering enriching cultural experiences that contribute to raising awareness and fostering communication among different cultures.

 

Diverse Workshops

The Korean Festival offered a variety of art workshops, most notably a workshop on making the traditional Korean attire "Hanbok" and another one on making paper fans, which are essentially part of Korean culture.

In addition, the Creativity Center for Talents presented art workshops that included painting cartoon characters on cups and bags.

 

Entertainment Programs and Various Participations

The festival included a wide range of shows and activities that were well received by the audience. The events included interactive competitions about Korean culture, with gifts granted to the winners, which created a fun and exciting atmosphere for the event.

The club facilities enriched the cultural experience by offering a variety of shows, including a Korean dance performed by the Fitness Center. Also, Joori; the beauty center in Al Dhaid branch, provided Korean-style hairstyling and nail polishing services, and displayed Korean beauty products.The Talent Center also showcased its artistic products such as “resin” keychains and mobile accessories. Additionally, the facilities offered exclusive discounts for the festival visitors.

 

The festival took the audience on a journey to taste Korean food and beverages that reflect the essence of Korean cuisine, with the participation of "Orki" restaurant, which presented a range of traditional Korean dishes, and "Sunset Café," which provided a unique experience for the visitors with a variety of drinks like coffee and "Matcha." Not to mention, "Marasi" restaurant which served a diverse array of dishes, including Korean food like "Tteokbokki," Korean noodles, Korean rice, and the Korean "Boba" drink.

 

The "Korean Beauty" store, as part of its participation in the festival, offered Korean skincare products, and the "Alaq" candle store added its creative and artistic touch by making candles in various shapes.

 

The festival was supported by sponsors such as Damas Medical Center, Alibtesamah AL Raieaa Medical Center, and "Skin Code," which contributed to the success of this festival.

 

It is worth mentioning that the Korean festival represents the beginning of a series of events and festivals that Sharjah Ladies Club aims to host for the aim of providing unique experiences for the audience. These events contribute to enhancing cultural exchange among people and provide an enjoyable platform for discovering various traditions and cultures in a vibrant and creative environment.
